Compass Community Arts is a charitable organisation working with all
branches of the community primarily in the South East region. The main
aim is to encourage creativity and communication through varied art forms,
particularly with marginalised groups who need a voice in society, by
helping them to produce work which ensures their talents and capabilities
are recognised.

The Round Robin Theatre was formed in
January 2000 to provide a platform for the talents of people with learning
disabilities.
Storytelling, both traditional and contemporary,
forms the basis of all Compass activity. It's where we began, telling stories
form all over the world - hence the name, compass.
Compass has mounted several projects
in prisons, delivering Key Skills in Communication and devising in-house
performances with the prisoners themselves.
Shinewater Court in Langney, Eastbourne,
is a residential home run by The Disabilities Trust, for people with a very
severe physical disability.
